Matthew Usmar Lauder

Matthew is an artist from London. He works between London, Sydney and Greece. He has a studio on the Island of Lesvos.

​

Matthew has a degree in Fine art and an MA in Fine Art Printmaking from Camberwell University. He worked for the Royal National Theatre in London and ran the scenic studios.

​

Matthew has had several solo exhibitions in London, Sydney, Leipzig and Penzance at the Newlyn art Gallery. He has shown in joint shows in Cologne, London, Sydney and:eipzig. And has been shortlisted for John Moores Prize and the Portrait Award UK.

Collectors include the The Museum of Contemporary Art, Israel, The British Government Collection and King Hussein of Jordan
